T - the type of elements held in this collectionpublic class LazyPSetX<T> extends AbstractFluentCollectionX<T> implements PSetX<T>
Set
This makes use of PSet (@see org.pcollections.PSet) from PCollectons.
Extended Set operations execute lazily e.g.
LazyPSetX<Integer> q = LazyPSetX.of(1,2,3)
.map(i->i*2);
The map operation above is not executed immediately. It will only be executed when (if) the data inside the
PSet is accessed. This allows lazy operations to be chained and executed more efficiently e.g.
LazyPSetX<Integer> q = LazyPSetX.of(1,2,3)
.map(i->i*2);
.filter(i->i<5);
The operation above is more efficient than the equivalent operation with a PSetX.
NB. Because LazyPSetX transform operations are performed Lazily, they may result in a different result
than PSetX operations that are performed eagerly. For example a sequence of map operations that result in
duplicate keys, may result in a different Set being produced.AbstractFluentCollectionX.LazyCollection<T,C extends java.util.Collection<T>>, AbstractFluentCollectionX.PersistentLazyCollection<T,C extends java.util.Collection<T>>| Constructor and Description |
